Optimix Products Achieve Dual VOC Certification, setting New Standards for Indoor Air Quality
The definition of sustainable construction has evolved significantly, and today's green building standards place equal emphasis on occupant health and well-being. Optimix Group has taken a decisive step in this direction, announcing that three of its flagship products have successfully obtained comprehensive VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) test reports, meeting the exacting requirements of both SCAQMD Rule 1168 and CDPH Standard Method V1.2. The certified products - OPTIMIX TA313 Tile Adhesive (Semi-Flexible), OPTIMIX TA328 Tile Adhesive (Flexible), and OPTIMIX TG410E Tile Grout (High Performance) - have undergone rigorous independent testing for both VOC content and emissions. This dual certification approach provides the most comprehensive validation of environmental performance available in the industry.   Understanding the Significance Volatile Organic Compounds are chemical substances that evaporate at room temperature, potentially affecting indoor air quality and occupant health. In enclosed spaces, prolonged exposure to high VOC levels can contribute to various health concerns, from minor irritations to more serious respiratory issues. This makes VOC control a critical factor in creating healthy indoor environments. The SCAQMD (South Coast Air Quality Management District) Rule 1168 represents one of the United States' strictest VOC content standards for adhesives and sealants. This regulation, widely recognized by green building certification systems including LEED, sets precise limits on the amount of VOCs that can be present in product formulations. Complementing this, the CDPH (California Department of Public Health) Standard Method V1.2 evaluates actual VOC emissions from materials over time. This test measures not just what's in the product, but what it releases into indoor air, setting strict limits for formaldehyde, total volatile organic compounds (TVOC), and dozens of specific chemical substances including benzene and toluene.   Delivering Tangible Benefits "These certifications represent more than compliance—they demonstrate our proactive commitment to human health and environmental stewardship," said Mr. Calvin Chan, CEO of Optimix Group. "By achieving both VOC content and emission standards, we're providing our partners with products that actively contribute to healthier indoor spaces while supporting their sustainability goals." For architects, developers, and contractors, these certifications translate into practical advantages: Green Building Credits: Products contribute directly to earning points in LEED, WELL, and BEAM Plus certification systems Risk Mitigation: Third-party verified compliance reduces liability and ensures project specifications are met Market Differentiation: Enables positioning of projects as health-conscious and environmentally responsible Universal Application: Safe for sensitive environments including homes, schools, hospitals, and commercial spaces   Leading Through Innovation The achievement underscores Optimix's strategic focus on developing solutions that meet the evolving needs of the construction industry. As green building standards become increasingly stringent and occupant health gains prominence, having verified low-VOC products becomes not just an advantage but a necessity. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, Optimix remains steadfast in its commitment to environmental innovation. This latest achievement is part of a continuous effort to create healthier, safer, and more sustainable built environments for the future.

Optimix Achieves Prestigious China Carbon Footprint Certification, Reinforcing Its Leadership in Sustainable Building Materials
Optimix Group today announced a significant milestone in its sustainability journey, having successfully obtained the China Carbon Footprint of Products Certification for two of its core products: OPTIMIX TA313 Tile Adhesive (Semi-Flexible) and OPTIMIX SF818 Self-Levelling Screed (Underlayment).   This certification was awarded by the China Testing & Certification Group (CTC), a leading authority in the field, following a comprehensive and impartial audit. The process involved a meticulous "cradle-to-gate" Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which analyzed the total greenhouse gas emissions associated with the products, from raw material extraction and transportation to the final manufacturing stage. The evaluation was conducted in strict accordance with the ISO 14067:2018 international standard, the global benchmark for quantifying a product's carbon footprint.   "This certification is a critical and transparent validation of our long-term strategy," said Mr. Calvin Chan, Chief Executive Officer of Optimix. "Our investment in R&D and sustainable operations is about creating tangible, measurable value for our clients and the environment. We are providing them with the certified data they need to build greener, more sustainable projects with confidence. This is a clear demonstration that we are not just talking about sustainability; we are actively proving it."   For architects, developers, and contractors, the verified carbon footprint data provides a distinct advantage. It enables them to make informed decisions and accurately account for the environmental impact of the materials used in their projects, contributing to green building certifications and corporate sustainability goals.   The certification of the OPTIMIX TA313 and SF818 products marks a key step in Optimix’s ongoing mission to decarbonize the construction industry. The company remains dedicated to expanding its portfolio of low-carbon solutions and continues to invest in innovation that supports the transition towards a carbon-neutral future.
