OPTIMIX once again sets the benchmark for green standards in the industry! Three of our core products — TA313 Tile Adhesive (Semi-Flexible), TA328 Tile Adhesive (Flexible), and TG410E Tile Grout (High Performance) — have officially been awarded the highest Platinum rating under the newly launched CIC Green Product Certification (CICGPC) 2.0.
With outstanding environmental performance, OPTIMIX is proud to be among the first companies in the industry to receive this upgraded certification. This milestone not only affirms our leadership in green R&D, low-carbon manufacturing, and sustainable development, but also sets a new benchmark for green building materials in Hong Kong.
CICGPC 2.0: An Authoritative Standard Towards Carbon Neutrality
CICGPC is the most credible assessment systems in Hong Kong’s construction sector and is directly linked to the BEAM Plus credit mechanism. The new 2.0 version represents a comprehensive upgrade from 1.0, with a stronger focus on embodied carbon control, resource circularity, health and environmental performance, and innovative technologies. Its more rigorous assessment criteria support Hong Kong’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
OPTIMIX’s successful certification demonstrates that our product life-cycle management has reached a leading standard aligned with international best practices.
From Raw Materials to Production: A Comprehensive Commitment to Sustainability and Carbon Reduction
To meet the stringent requirements of CICGPC 2.0, OPTIMIX has demonstrated strong environmental performance across multiple key areas:
Continuing the Platinum Legacy: Where Premium Quality Meets Green Innovation
As a company deeply committed to green building materials, OPTIMIX was awarded the highest Platinum rating under CICGPC 1.0 for TA328 as early as 2021. This latest achievement — with three products simultaneously receiving Platinum certification under CICGPC 2.0 — marks another major step forward in our journey of smart production and technological innovation.
Looking ahead, OPTIMIX will continue to advance low-carbon technologies and the use of recycled resources. Being among the first companies to receive CICGPC 2.0 certification is only the beginning. We will keep developing high-performance, environmentally responsible building materials and work hand in hand with industry partners to build a healthier, more sustainable green future for Hong Kong.
